Now no need to look for your own bank's ATM to withdraw cash, come April 01st you can withdraw money from any ATM, yes without any fee that is free of charge. As per RBI guidelines except cash withdrawn using credit card and cash withdrawn from ATM's located outside India should not be charged from 01st April 2009. Various banks have entered into bilateral and multilateral agreement to have inter-bank ATM network. Last year from 10th March 2008, the fee was limited to Rs 20/- for cash withdrawn and no fee was charged for balance enquiry.
